Terence "Terry" Ryan

Terry laid the groundwork for Clean Tech Advisory Group in 2018.  Drawn by his engineering background and his interest in technology, Terry immersed himself in the new technologies of renewable clean energy.

Terry graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with both a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering.  At Wentworth, the education was “hands on” and supported by co-op periods of work.  After Wentworth, Terry obtained his MBA as part of the "Master your Morning" program while working at Raytheon Company.  Classes were offered in the mornings, prior to work by Framingham State University.

Terry served on the Westford School Committee for six years, from 2012 to 2018, finishing as Chair.  Terry has always been active in the community and sees that involvement as an important way to give back.  As a member of the school committee, Terry focused on technology improvements that helped the students learn and protected them in the classrooms while simultaneously advancing the curriculum that teachers presented. At the present time, Terry is a candidate once again for the School Committee position he held for six years.

Currently, Terry holds the position of Parking Director for the City of Lowell, a position he has held since September of 2019 and serves as a volunteer representing Westford on the Lowell Regional Transit Authority Advisory Board.

Growing up in Lowell, MA, Terry has a deep understanding of Lowell's place as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and today he sees a parallel in the clean energy revolution at a global level.  Technology is advancing at an incredible rate, wind turbines are getting bigger, solar panels are becoming more efficient, more electric vehicles are on the road and fuels like hydrogen are being introduced to replace fossil fuels.

With over 30 years of engineering experience and an MBA, along with deep ties to the community and an expansive collaborative network, Terry is well suited to work with you in reaching your goals.

From Agriculture to Energy to Infrastructure and Transportation, new technologies are opening new possibilities for both industry and the consumer.  Let Clean Tech Advisory Group assist you with clean technology, government relations and educational services ensuring your possibilities become the new reality.

Terry and his wife, Kerry, reside in Westford, MA and have three high school aged children. Terry enjoys family time, taking his road bike on trips to Concord, MA and other surrounding towns, golf, skiing and playing an occasional game of Spikeball.
